Bernina Club 2nd Tues. or Sat. of the Month 10am-12pm This class goes more in depth than just the basic guide class for Bernina owners. Each month different feet are featured and demonstrated. Cost: $10. Teacher: Diana Marshall This is a monthly class.
	Software Club 2nd Tues. of each Month 1pm-3pm This class is for Bernina V6 DesignerPlus or EditorPlus owners. You will learn how to better use your software starting with the basics. Prerequisite: Basic Computer Skills Cost: $10. Teacher: Sharon Krutz This is a monthly class.
Grandmother's Flower Garden Fri. Jan. 20th & Feb. 10th 10am-1pm Come all you Grandmother's Flower Garden Fans! Learn how thand piece this classic quilt pattern using Cindy Blackberg's stamp (required). If you like hand sewing and/or making classic quilts, this class is for you. Cost: $45. 	Penny Wool Appliqué @ Saratoga Mon. Jan. 30th, Feb. 27th, Mar. 26th, April 30th 10am-2pm For anyone who enjoy "handwork" - Consider joining this fun group and learn a new "old" (and very relaxing) technique that dates back to Civil War times. (Warning - It can become habit forming) "Snowflakes and Hearts" table topper will be the January project. Kits available from instructor (with at least one week notice) or bring your own project. T-Shirt Quilt Rescheduled date to be announced 10am-3pm This class will help you turn T-shirts into a memorable quilt. Maybe you want to make this for yourself to bring back memories of special times or as a gift for someone. The Eleanor Burns, Quilt in a Day, T-Shirt quilt pattern is great for beginners to advanced quilters. The pattern includes the fabric requirements. Cost: $35. Hand -Piecers (aka the "Knot Sew Lost Art") Club Thurs. Feb 16th, Fri. Mar. 16th, & Fri. April 20th 10am-1pm Come join us for some very special fun. Bring your hand-piecing project or start a new one and enjoy three hours dedicated to the art and pleasure of sewing by hand. 	Machine Quilting Fri. Feb. 24th 10am-3pm Learn to do functional and decorative machine quilting on your own home sewing machine. The machine quilting class includes examples, demonstrations, patterns, practice time, and information about other issues pertaining to finishing a quilt. 	Disappearing 9-Patch Quilt Wed. Mar. 7th & 14th 10am-3pm This is a simple variation on the traditional nine patch block. It is easy to make and looks impressive when finished. The sample was made using three fabrics. It is a good project for beginners. Cost: $45. Teacher: Nancy Frank This is a two session class.

	Diamond Diva Wed. Mar. 21st & 28th 10am-3pm Remember argyle socks and sweaters? Well, they are in fashion again! The "Diamond Diva" pattern is a simple pieced design that is given added dimension by the addition of a raw edged appliqué diamond in a contrasting color. The resulting argyle pattern will look great in whatever your choice of fabric, from classic to contemporary. In only two classes you will have a completed lap sized top. No special templates are necessary - just a square ruler that has a 60° and a 30° angle marked on it. Cost: $45. Teacher: Sandi Christman This is a two session class.
Fun with Bargello Thurs. Mar. 22nd & 29th 10am-3pm This technique creates the illusion of movement and depth thru color and piecing using bargello as a design element. If you never want to make a bargello quilt, that's ok. This technique is great as a background for landscape quilts and as a reverse appliqué for elements within a quilt. Cost: $45. 	Over East Fri. Mar. 30th 9:30am-3:30pm Choose your favorite Over East pattern to create in this one day workshop. Sue will show you the appliqué method she uses in her patterns. Cost: $25. Teacher: Sue Pritt This is a one day class
Quilting 101 Wed. Apr. 11th, 18th, 25th, May 2nd, 9th, & 16th 10am-1pm This sampler will involve two common quilt making elements, patchwork & applique. Specific techniques to be covered include finding the straight of the grain, appropriate pressing with an iron, rotary cutting, chain piecing, half-square triangle construction, working w/templates and curved piecing, needle turn freezer paper applique, and the squaring of completed blocks. Cost: $75. Teacher: Linda Bennett This is a 6 session class.
	Sew Simple Pineapple Apr. 23rd 9:30am-2:30pm Learn a new technique for doing a pineapple block without using any special tools. It is much easier to make these lovely pineapple blocks and grow them quickly into a quilt. Cost: $25. Teacher: Linda Fieldhouse This is a one day class.
Madision Square Table Runner Mon. May 21st 9:30am-2:30pm A fun and simple "Quilt As You Go" table runner that is perfect for a coffee or kitchen table. Cost: $25. Teacher: Linda Fieldhouse This is a one day class.
	Finishing School Wed. May 23rd 10am-1pm This class will teach you meathods and techniques you may need in order to finish any quilt top. Layering the quilt top, batting, and backing fabrics as well as hand and machine quilting techniques will be demonstrated. Border and binding application will also be discussed and demonstrated with an opportunity for hands-on experience. Cost: $ Teacher: Linda Bennett This is a one day class.
